Online Students and Faculty

Search the library catalog for the book or journal you’re trying to locate. Use the journal or book title, not the article or chapter title.

If we have the physical item and you want to read the entire thing, email us with the information including the title, author and call number. We will review your request and let you know if we can send it via our materials-by-mail service. Review our Document Delivery & ILL Policies for details on the types of items that can be requested through the mail.

If we have the physical item and you just need a single article or chapter, request a PDF scan via email. Include the complete citation information: book or journal title, chapter or article, author, date, volume, issue, page range, and any other information you have.

If we do not own or subscribe to the book or journal you need, place an interlibrary loan request for the chapter or article. (Due to lending restrictions from partner libraries we are unable to mail ILL books to off-campus addresses.)

Residential Students and Faculty

Search the library catalog for the book or journal you’re trying to locate. Use the journal or book title, not the article or chapter title.

If we have the physical item and you want to borrow it, come to the library to check it out; ask at the desk if you need help locating an item in the stacks. You can also use the scanners and photocopiers in the library to save a portion of the document for personal study (subject to U.S. Copyright Law xyz).

If we do not own or subscribe to the book or journal you need, place an interlibrary loan request for the book, chapter, or article.
